UPSC IAS Civil Services final result 2016 declared

Today, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the final result of Civil Services Examination 2015 with woman a candidate Tina Dabi  (Roll No 0256747) emerging as the topper; the person who secured second position is Aamir Ul Shari Khan Akhtar (0058239) and in third spot has emerged Jasmeet Singh Sandhu (00105512). Check the entire list below and on upsc.gov.in – depending on the rank secured, candidates will be allocated various services, from Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
The UPSC declared the final results of the Civil Services Examination Mains 2015 on Tuesday and made available the details online at its official website – www.upsc.nic.in. Candidates can check out the details given below. As far as categories go, as many as 499 ‘General’ candidates have been declared successful, 314 OBCs, 76 Scehduled Castes and 89 Scheduled Tribes.
Based on the results of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2015 held by the Union Public Service Commission in December, 2015 and the interviews for Personality Test held in March-May, 2016, following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment.
In accordance with Rule 16 (4) & (5) of the Civil Services Examination Rules 2015, the Commission is maintaining a consolidated Reserve List of 172 candidates as under: GENERAL: 86; OBC: 74; SC: 08; ST: 4; TOTAL: 172.
PSC has a “Facilitation Counter” near Examination Hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information / clarification regarding their examinations / recruitments on the working days between 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours in person or over telephone Nos. 23385271 / 23381125 / 23098543. Result will also be available on the U.P.S.C. website i.e. http//www.upsc.gov.in. Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of Result.
